"In honor of the 10th anniversary of The Momentum Women's Leadership Program, six annual awards were created to recognize and honor the diverse and important contributions of Alabama women in business, politics, healthcare and non-profits. Hundreds of nominations were received, illuminating the vast reach of women in Alabama--leading, inspiring and making a difference." 

The inaugural wards ceremony will take place on the evening of February 29, 2012, as a kick-off to The Momentum Women’s Leadership Conference:  Building Women Leaders in Alabama, on March 1, 2012.
